Find someone you think has that style. Study what they do and say and HOW, and develop your own version of that.

Question by dani: I really want to learn to public speak but I don’t feel ready for toastmasters?
public speaking is a huge fear for me! I had to do a presentation for my physics class and I was shaking and could barely speak.
I would really like to overcome this fear because it is an important skill to have but I don’t know where to start. I am certainly not ready for something like toastmasters; I need to do something more gradual.

Question by : is there anyway to learn a talk (public speaking) quickly?
i also have to learn a script aswell in the quickest time possible

Answer by Domc
For your script, break it into easily memorized parts. Just take small paragraphs at a time. If you have monologues, break them into beats (beats are pauses in speech you make when your character would be thinking) and memorize it that way, as it will come much more naturally. For your speech, do the same. Break it into more manageable parts and work at it that way. When it comes to speaking in front of others, just remember that practice and repetition are key. Good luck!

I would be willing to learn any native american language but preferably Sioux. Where would I go about finding a way to learn? I tried the public library but they didn’t really have anything. I searched the internet but to no avail.

What do you mean when you say:Spanish-speaking Immigrants won’t learn English?Who’s got the data to graph and monitor individual and group progress in learning English?
Why do you think they are unwilling to learn?Because you hear Spanish spoken in public?
Just curious, how much time would it take you to learn a foreign language?Remember, these people don’t have too much time on his hands
Thank you

A friend of mine is attending public school in US. He just moved here from Ukraine and speaks Russian. The school where he attends is a small town so there are no other Russian-speakers. The school is working on finding him an English tutor. They say it could take a month or two to find a Russian-English interpreter for him. Anyone have a good idea for him to start working on English on his own?
